Who Are We...

“If you have a body, you are an athlete.” – Nike

Nike’s definition of an athlete may be a bit broad, but it does represent the potential of nearly every human on the planet.  And while some people choose to exercise occasionally, a growing number participate in athletics in a much more focused fashion.  These athletes, independent of their age or ability, have specific goals, train hard to achieve these goals, and look for motivation and inspiration from others – they want to belong to a community of like-minded people.

At My Athletic Life, we are producing a content-rich website for dedicated athletes.  With articles, interviews, and images produced by the best bloggers and subject matter experts in athletic development, we intend to be a trusted resource to inspire you to achieve your athletic goals and objectives.

Imagine whipping a hammer – a 4 kilogram steel ball attached by a nearly 4 foot long wire to a handle – around your head before letting it fly.  To me this sounds like a recipe for humiliation if not serious injury.  But for Bri...
